This fine example was well cared for by the same enthusiast for the last 25 years and is in great shape, both mechanical and cosmetic. It is donned in an older paintjob, now Midnight Blue which is a little lighter than the factory Laguna Blue originally on the car. Paint is very nice and shinny with no signs of wear. Chrome is also very nice and integral with no hazing or pitting. It is powered by a newer GM 350 engine which replaced the factory 327/350 L79 the car came with. There is no information on the HP rating, but it is believed to be around 300 with help from the high-rise manifold and Flowmaster headers. Transmission is a 4-speed manual which performs flawlessly. Sorry, no power options on this hot rod! Check out the factory correct side pipes! Interior appears also redone recently and is the correct Blue Vinyl, trim code 418. Dash, carpet, door panels... are all correct. All instruments and gauges are functional with the exception of the clock. Undercarriage is clean.Car starts and runs like it should. It exhibits plenty of power and has very nice road manners. Brakes are sound, steering is crisp, the side exhaust add the proper rumble, all in all, a great Mid-Year convertible to enjoy and show.
