This 1961 Bubble Top Sport Coupe is a real tribute to some of
Chevrolets best design work ever. We believe it now has all the
badging and equipment to make it a Super Sport 409 Package plus
some other extras that were not available in 1961. The engine is a
real 409, 409 HP version (not matching numbers) , Freshly built
with two 4 barrel carb setup and using an Isky-solid lifter cam (
what sweet music) the Borg Warner 4-speed transmission is shifted
by the stock shifter through the shiny aluminum floor console and
boot. The power train is harnessed by the new clutch and pressure
plate, disc and throwout bearing. This car has just been completely
disassembled and the frame off rotisserie restored. No part was
left untouched. All new items used on reassembly , such as bearings
, ball joints , gas tanks and lines and body mount rubber bushings.
Power steering components etc. The car has power steering and power
brakes with dual reservoir and adjustable portioning valve. A great
new feature is the air conditioning system with a large aluminum
radiator to keep everything cool, while listening to tunes on the
new digital radio in stock dash. Complete new correct interior to
match in red to match the overall shiney red clearcoat finish. VIN
