Here we have a 1971 GMC 1500 Pick Up For Sale. This truck has had a
stunning frame off restoration done and has had multiple upgrades
done. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description
of the exterior, interior, and driveline of this GMC, but first we
would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee.
We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no
consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You
can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a
big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So,
that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us
for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at
(865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of this Pick Up. The body of
this truck all looks to be rock solid with phenomenal cab to bed
fit along with both fenders and doors having an excellent fit as
well. The body lines all line up beautifully along with the
Stainless down the sides for the Two-Tone Color Combo. When it was
restored they blocked it to a laser straight finish and the Base
Coat Clear Coat paint has been buffed and polished to a gorgeous
shine that's slick as ribbon. The yellow and white two tone scheme
compliments each other perfectly and makes for an eye catcher at
any show. Every piece of Chrome and Stainless looks to have been
replaced or polished to like new. To finish it off it's sitting on
a set of 20" and 22" Billet Specialty Wheels with Red Line Tires
that do a great job off showcasing the Gold Caliper and 15" and 14"
Rotors.
Next we will look at the interior of this '71. On the inside it's
equally impressive as all of the jams and bottoms of the doors are
rock solid. It's done in the Black and White two tone scheme with
the metal being done in the Yellow body color. It features a
Houndstooth Bench Seat along with Houndstooth accents in the door
panels. You'll also notice that it has been upgraded with full
frame door glass which is in great condition along with the rest of
the glass. Looking at dash you can see that the it has been updated
with all new Classic Instrument gauges. It also has the Chrome
Steering Column with tilt Wheel and a custom grip Billet
Specialties Steering Wheel. This Pick up also comes with an
upgraded radio along with having Air Condition installed.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevrolet. Under the
hood it's powered by the 396 Big Block Engine that's set up with a
Polished Intake and custom valve covers. Everything has gorgeous
detail and is a testament to the phenomenal restoration it has had.
The inner fenders and firewall are all rock solid and slick. The
396 is mated to the Turbo 400 Trans that goes out back to the 12
Bolt Rear End with around a 3.55 Gear. For exhaust it has manifolds
with dual pipes and Flowmaster style muffler. Along with having the
modern 134A Air Condition it also comes with Power Steering and
Power Brakes. As we mentioned earlier the brakes have been upgraded
to four wheel disc with 15" and 14" Rotors along with Six Piston
and 4 Piston Calipers. When you look under this truck you will be
thoroughly impressed with the frame off restoration that was done.
The wood bed is practically new and the floors and cab corners are
all solid along with the frame. Under the front Everything looks to
be new with the ball joints and bushings all having been replaced.
This truck has a killer look but it is 100% an excellent driver as
well.
