Numerous changes were made to the 88 Fiero. The most significant was a completely redesigned suspension to realize the full potential of the mid-engine layout. The new suspension included new two-piece brake calipers and upgraded brake rotors. The GT model included the Upgraded 2.8L V6 motor, with 43hp more than the 4-cylinder engine, upgraded suspension, and wider tires. Topping off the package were the new vented disc brakes on all four corners. The Fiero's mid-engine layout was chosen to reduce aerodynamic drag and vehicle weight to improve fuel efficiency, and for its handling, traction and braking benefits. This Awesome Fiero GT has just 45,712 original miles. This Fiero is in excellent condition. The owner meticulously took care of this car. This weekend driver has always been garage kept and properly maintained. Everything on this GT functions as it should. The best part happens to be the upgrades the owner chose to have installed. This GT has an LED headlight conversion, LED sequential taillight conversion that was custom ordered, and a Fiero GT third brake light kit. Lighting was just the start of this build. A Fiero Store side intake, Stainless Steel Ocelot Exhaust, Stainless Steel head pipe, heat coated header kit, a Cat delete that sounds fantastic, Chrome engine strut bar, and a polished aluminum engine dress up kit. The air conditioning was converted from R12 to R134. Also installed from the Fiero Store was a short throw shifter and new sway bar bushings and end links for the front and rear. A K&N air filter was installed to help the engine breath. A new performance clutch and throw out bearing was installed at 35,000 miles.
