showroom. This deep red 47 Ford is a stunning example of one of
these fat fender cars from the 40's. Believe it or not the
gentleman decided to keep it original. The old and reliable
flathead is still under the hood. With a total of 239 CI The new
Holley 4 Barrel feeds this flathead with Offenhauser heads the fuel
it needs with out breaking a sweat. The electric system in the car
ahs been upgraded to a 12-volt system with the proper upgraded
alternator as well. The fender skirts look good on this super
deluxe with the steel wheels being complimented by dog dish hubcaps
with FORD painted to match. All the chrome on this beauty is in
great condition and when shown outside will blind you if not
careful. Gleaming as the sun hits it. Inside is a very nice
interior consisting of a big bench upfront that has been covered
with black and red vinyl. The huge steering wheel makes it a lot
easier to steer this ford without power steering. The clock was
only available on the super deluxe proudly displayed inset into the
dash. The 3 on the tree shifter is something you don't see any more
and will bring you back in time when driving. Options on this 1947
