For Sale: 1966 Chevrolet C10 in O'Fallon, Illinois

Now featuring at the Milwaukee Showroom for sale at Gateway Classic Cars is this 1966 Chevrolet C10. From the custom paint job to the chrome blower sticking out of the hood, it becomes apparent all too fast that this is far from being your average pickup truck. This show truck truly takes the cake of beautiful and over the top in terms of customization of appearance and performance. Under (and above) the hood of this mean machine rests a 355 cubic inch small block 4-bolt main V8 engine which features an 8.5:1 compression ratio when paired to a set of 202 Bowtie cylinder heads. The motor is fed fuel through a pair of 600CFM Edelbrock Performer series carburetors which sit on top of a polished 6-71 Weiand blower. This all makes for putting down around 700 horsepower before you even get into the nitrous system that this truck is equipped with. The beast of a powerplant is bolted to a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission which has been built and modified by adding a full manual valve body operated by a B&M ratchet style shifter. The appearance of this truck also has been done up extensively while featuring a custom paint job which incorporates various shades of red, burgundy, and magenta beautifully to make for a very one-of-a-kind look all courtesy of House of Kolor. The custom paint job is well complemented by the custom wheels made by Boyd Coddington. The doors of this truck is opened with hidden electric door poppers to reveal an all custom interior featuring grey cloth, a custom gauge cluster including liquid filled gauges from Autometer, and a custom center console that houses the ratchet shifter. The C10 is also equipped with an aftermarket radio deck with aftermarket speakers, tilt wheel and power windows to make this ride smoother sailing. The time is great to pick this work of art up and I think it goes without saying that you will never see another one like it!
