Gateway Classic Cars is excited to produce this 1940 Ford Sedan for
sale at the Milwaukee Showroom. While there is a crowd for people
who want original style car from the 30s and 40s, the custom hot
rods reign supreme and this is a shining example of a car
tastefully taken over the top. Anyone's attention is taken by the
custom paint job right off the bat that features a 3-tone scheme of
purple, red, and black which is subsequently set off by the custom
alloys this beauty features. When you pop the hood, you're sure to
notice the matched custom paint scheme on the valve covers and the
air cleaner of the engine as well as a pin up graphic that helps
accent the air cleaner. The power plant itself is a 409 cubic inch
big block Chevy V8 which features dual 4-barrel Edelbrock
carburetors and custom fit headers to help performance be a factory
despite the tight fit of having such a large motor for this car.
The power of the V8 is transferred through a TH400 3-speed
automatic transmission and goes back to a rear axle out of a 1982
Corvette. The Ford has been outfitted with air conditioning, custom
LED lighting, aftermarket CD player radio deck, tilt wheel, power
windows, power locks, heat, power steering, and power disc brakes
all the way around. It's not too often you find a custom hot rod
that has it all and now is your chance to own one that does today!
This 1940 Ford Sedan is available at our Milwaukee Showroom at
Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com
which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in
