Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting a 1967 Plymouth
GTX for sale. This 1967 GTX is wearing fresh Black paint and a Red
interior. This Plymouth is powered by a 426(478) CI V8. The
transmission is a A833 manual both with approximately 4500 miles
since rebuilt. The rear is a Dana 60 with 3:54 gears. The engine is
a stroker with Hydraulic lifters and it runs great. The Hemi was an
option in this car in 1967. This GTX was originally equipped with
the 440 CI engine that was standard. This car is represented as
being a rust free solid car. The paint work is over 5 years old and
looks fresh. To the best of the owner's knowledge this car has all
original body panels. In the 60's when Plymouth and Dodge started
throwing big V8s into their cars they could be a little rough
around the edges. The GTX was the sophisticated Mopar. Designed for
the Gentleman who wanted to drive a muscle car. The GTX was based
on the good-looking two-door Belvedere hardtop. The GTX was dressed
up with a special grille and tail panel, simulated hood scoops, and
chrome gas cap. The cabin was top-of-the-line, with bucket seats,
embossed vinyl, and lots of brightwork. The dash in this car has a
clean uncluttered sophisticated look. The shifter coming out of the
floor with no console is all business and the column mounted tach
tells you what that business is. Everything looks new inside this
car from carpet to headliner. To view this 1967 Plymouth GTX in
