1970 Ford XL 2 Door Convertible For Sale $19,000 price reduced from $24,000 429-4V V8 C-6 Select Shift Automatic on Console A/C My father bought the car in Kingsville Texas from Raoul L. Delmar in the August 2000. Between August 2000 and May 2002, he stripped the interior and exterior and rebuilt the motor and transmission. Did the bodywork and had the car painted. He reinstalled the motor and transmission and had the exhaust replaced. Also had a new rag top put on and new interior installed. Then the car set covered in the garage only getting driven very few times. After my father's passing in September 2013 I took ownership of the car. It stayed in the garage until I sold the estate in June 2017. I then took the car to Central Garage in Dripping Springs, TX and had the brakes, shocks and all bushings replaced and 4 wheel alignment done. Also had the AC compressor rebuilt and converted to R-134a. The windows needs to be properly adjusted. I have the new front electric window kit that needs to be installed. I also have a set of wire basket hubcaps and a five volume shop manual set. The car drives good and has all matching numbers.
