Chevrolet Bel Air at our Milwaukee location. The "Bel Air" name
plate was first introduced in 1951, resulting in an extensive run
that lasted until 1981. The first-generation Bel Air was introduced
as a two-door coupe only. Completely redesigned with a hardtop that
was styled to look like a convertible top. By 1953, the beginning
of the iconic Bel Air we have come to know and love today made
their debut into the hearts and minds of American culture. The
second- generation Chevrolet Bel Air manufactured from 1955-1957
featured an abundance of chrome trim, two-tone paint schemes, and
upscale interior packages. Our 1956 Chevrolet is a beautiful
example of the 1950's Bel Air phenomenon. Painted in a tasteful
turquoise and white paint scheme, accented to a factory matching
interior. This Bel Air was painstakingly restored to its original
glory both inside and out. Under the hood is a 265 cubic inch small
block V-8 attached to two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission.
One can instantly recognize the 1956 Bel Air by it its conventional
full- width grille and single housings which incorporated the
taillights, brake lights and backup lights. Including a fuel filler
hidden in the left rear taillight. This 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air
represents and era that will never be reproduced. Now is the time
