Now for sale in our Indianapolis Showroom is this 1965 Shelby
Daytona Coupe built by Factor Five. A fun fact about the Daytona is
that there were only 6 true Shelby Daytona's built 1964-1965 all of
which competed in several different races in the British Alan Mann
Racing. This Daytona replica is powered by a 302 CID V8 which has
just over 2500 miles on it. Paired to a Tremec T-5 transmission
that gets through the powerband without complication. Power is
driven to the rear wheels through a Ford 8.8-inch rear that
features 3.73 gearing making this a great all-around car, apart
from a family greater than 2. Other options include a Holley Sniper
fuel injection system, ceramic coated headers, aluminum radiator,
and an electric fan to ensure this Daytona runs cool. This
beautiful Daytona even comes with plenty of documentation regarding
the build to make the new owner comfortable, and confident in
owning this classic machine. The interior is in great shape and
shows well. The performance seats truly lock you in, so you aren't
thrown around the car when taking those hairpin turns. The 5-point
harness ensures you stay safely secured as well. As many of these
Daytona's don't seem to come with the ever so loved A/C, this one
does but is not currently working. You even get the bonus of side
windows that can be easily installed or left off depending on your
personal preference. For more information on this 1965 Shelby
