In 1985, Chevrolet introduced the legendary IROC-Z version that was named after the International Race of Champions. Offered as an option package on the Z28, the Camaro IROC-Z featured an upgraded suspension, lowered ride height, specially-valved Delco-Bilstein shocks, larger diameter sway bars, a steering/frame brace known as the "wonder bar", a special decal package, and an optional tuned port injection system taken from the Chevrolet Corvette. This 1988 Camaro IROC-Z has its original 350 CID V8 and 4-speed automatic that has just 13,665 actual miles and is a One-Owner car. This 1988 Iroc is no ordinary Camaro though, added to the already great performing engine is a Paxton Supercharger, SLP headers, and 4 inch exhaust. With all of the power added the transmission was also upgraded and has an Art Carr torque converter. This fine example is a well-optioned car wearing the original shiny coat of Bright Red exterior paint that shows very well. The interior is all original with black and gray cloth seating surfaces and plush carpet that looks almost as good as the day it was new and the only modification is the hand controls which can be easily removed with no evidence of them ever being in place. The consignor recently added a new set of wheels and tires which are 15-inch Weld racing wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson tires - that just sets her off!
