Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting a 1966 Ford F100
for sale. This 1966 F100 is powered by the optional 352 cubic inch
V-8 big block engine. It was rated at 172 horsepower. In 1965 and
1966 on the F100 models the turn signals are above the headlights.
In 1966 Ford replaced the rudimentary straight-axle in the front
with an all-new independent "Twin I-Beam" suspension with coil
springs on two-wheel-drive trucks. The 1965 and 1966 F-Series
trucks are distinguished with a "TWIN I-BEAM" emblem on the front
fender. This F100 is also equipped with the optional automatic
transmission. This F100 has been refreshed with a new steering box,
new valves seals and a new carburetor. Only 2 years ago it received
a fresh new coat of Bright Red paint. The Interior includes the
two-tone red and black padded dash and sports two long slots above
what would become known as the egg crate. This F-Series was built
with a mildly aggressive look. What a great year for Ford trucks!
