Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to market this unique 1959
Edsel Ranger 2-door sedan. Powering this sharp classic is a 292
Y-block CID V8 engine and mated to a 3 "on the tree" manual
transmission. For 1959, the Ranger and the new top-line Corsair
both shared the same 120 in wheelbase. The frame was ladder-type.
Styling for the cars became more conservative, with the horse
collar grille being replaced by a shield shape filled with rows of
bars. Only 7,778 two-door sedans (all U.S.-built) were built in
1959. This Edsel sports a gloss red paint with white filler in
between the trim. The interior is in normal wear condition and
sports two toned cloth and vinyl. The dash is very sporty with
chrome accents. Options on this car includes an AM/FM radio, Hub
caps, Cloth interior, radial tires, and so much more! The current
owner has recently added new tires, upgraded the brakes, and
changed out the clutch. This car is turnkey and ready to roll. If
you are looking for a piece of Ford History that the whole family
can enjoy taking on trips or to car shows. This body style was only
from 1958-1960 so there are not a lot left in this condition which
makes this '59 a collector's item. Do not let someone else add this
to their collection before you can! This 1959 Edsel Ranger 2-door
sedan is for sale by our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in
greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at
