But in 2014, Hertz partnered with the legendary racing team, Team Penske, to offer 150 special black and yellow Hertz-Penske Mustang GTs for rental through the Hertz Adrenaline Collection, which commanded a premium $130-per-day rate. This Hertz-Penske GT is No. 82 of the 150. Coming from California and Driven only 29,225 miles since new. Each Hertz-Penske GT started out as a black 2014 Mustang GT Premium powered by the 5.0/420 HP "Coyote" V-8 and optioned with Recaro leather racing seats, Brembo brakes and Electronics Package with navigation. From there, Team Penske installed a Ford Racing Handling Pack suspension with lowered springs-making it a full inch lower than standard Mustang GTs- 3.55:1 rear-axle gearing, Ford Racing cold-air induction enhanced by a retuned ECU, Boss 302 Laguna Seca gauge package and custom illuminated door-sill plates. A performance exhaust system lowered restriction for more horsepower while also providing the Hertz-Penske GTs with a muscular sound. Externally, the Hertz-Penske GTs were recognized by their chin splitter from the Boss 302, Shelby GT500 rear valence with quad exhaust tips, and custom yellow graphics for the hood, roof, decklid, and rocker panels. Each car was numbered with a custom badge on the console, drivers-side shock tower, and decal inside the driver's door jamb. This production, low-mileage Hertz-Penske GT is ready for your collection.
