Ford Model T Roadster Pickup. Powering this time capsule is the
original numbers matching 93 year old Inline 4 cylinder engine that
is mated to the original 2 speed manual transmission. Its
transmission was a planetary gear type billed as "three speed". In
today's terms it would be considered a two-speed, because one of
the three speeds is reverse. The Model T's transmission was
controlled with three floor-mounted pedals and a lever mounted to
the left side of the driver's seat. The throttle was controlled
with a lever on the right side of the steering wheel. The car could
thus cruise without the driver having to press any of the pedals.
This truck is turnkey and ready to be enjoyed. Painted in a flat
black with dark wooden bed rails, this truck was maintained to keep
the period correct curb appeal. The black vinyl interior shows well
with minor wear from use. There is a small toolbox with antique
Ford tools that come with the truck as well. Options on this '27
includes a manual convertible top, vinyl interior, wire wheels with
bias ply tires, and so much more! The current owner has enjoyed the
