For Sale: 1958 Chevrolet Corvette in O'Fallon, Illinois

This Beautiful Corvette wearing a rarely seen/ or manufactured (way to labor intensive from a manufacture process with the Lacquer) Charcoal on Charcoal (one year only, 1958 optional color) has been featured on the cover of "Old Cars Report Price Guide" it was also featured on the cover of "Old Cars". This is originally a fuel injected car (Sporting a Carburetor now). Fuel injection history here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqR0ebOcrxM The rings on the under side of the hood (which is original to the car ) shows where the Fuel injection was and had blown (They were notorious for blowing up). ( the original Fuelie set up is NOT with the car) This one is sporting a rebuilt correct vintage 283 C.I Chevrolet V8 (from 1957 Casting # 3731398) (in 1958 there were no #'s stamped on the block to match the VIN) and a rebuilt Trans, both were rebuilt about 4900 miles ago. The Corvette was completly striped down to the glass and repainted it's original Color (see above) and Jell Coat. No panels were replaced in the process, and believed to be all original.
