In the post-war era until around 1960, General Motors RWD trucks could be ordered with the NAPCO (Northwestern Auto Parts Company) "Power-Pak" conversion that would have been installed by an authorized dealer or NAPCO franchise to the tune of $1,200-$1,500 (big bucks considering the truck itself had an MSRP of around $2,500!). This half-ton, short bed GMC comes painted in bright "Corvette Yellow" and has a gray/black cloth interior.
