Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this sharp
looking classic 1967 Chevrolet Camaro. This Camaro is still clad in
its original colors both inside and out and carries smooth power
under its distinctive hood and a 4-speed manual that's all in great
running form. A period-correct 327 cubic inch V8 sits in a very
clean engine bay, flanked by glossy black inner fenders and a
firewall that really make it stand out. There's not a wire out of
place and every hose you come across is nice and fresh. The small
block looks outstanding - its block is painted a proper Chevy
orange that contrasts nicely with its chrome valve covers and air
cleaner - and it's armed with a Quick Fuel 4-barrel carb and
Edelbrock intake to maximize its power. This first-generation
Camaro also rides impressively smooth and its control arm bushings
were recently replaced to eliminate the chatter cars of this era so
often suffer from. With featured power steering and power brakes,
it's also an easy navigator that can come to a stop promptly when
called upon and rides on a nice set of 15" Rally wheels wrapped
with BF Goodrich T/A radials. When you combine its Tuxedo black
color and cowl induction hood, this RS gives off the vibe of a
muscle car driven straight from the assembly line. This is a very
straight looking classic in all respects - up front, the signature
hideaway headlights sit flush and level in the deep black grille
that looms just above the clean front bumper, and they open without
incident. The lines surrounding the doors, hood and deck lid are
very even. Trace the contour that runs down the middle of the hood
over the cowl induction scoop and you'll see it lines up well with
the center of the grille - no small feat in a car more than 50
years old. From the Chevrolet scripted emblem on its nose to the
"RS" branded gas cap in back, the badging on this vintage Chevy is
also in great shape. You'd have to step inside an awful lot of its
counterparts to come across an interior anywhere near on a par with
this one. Refurbished to original specs right down to its deep red
color, it offers an outstanding classic driving environment and
looks awesome. Everything's got a fresh look inside, from the low
backed bucket seats whose vinyl surfaces have yet to show any wear,
to the center console that sports a Hurst shifter and the door
panels on both sides. Just in front of the factory steering wheel,
the dash area also presents very well, with very clear gauges in
its instrument cluster and what looks to be a nearly new dash pad
on top. While the feature isn't currently online, this classic
Chevy could easily be equipped with air conditioning, as the ducts
are already in place and vents are installed on the sides of the
dash. For more information on this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro for sale,
