1970 model year, the Monte Carlo was the first "personal luxury
vehicle" produced under the Chevrolet name and quickly became a
very popular vehicle. Despite the oil crisis of 1973-74, the Monte
Carlo actually grew in sales and set new records for the model. The
350 cubic inch V8 mated to an automatic transmission give plenty of
power and a smooth ride to this cruiser. In true 70s fashion, the
gorgeous green paint on the exterior is matched with a green cloth
interior. With only 40,000 original miles and a list of recent work
done to the vehicle, this Monte Carlo is ready to rack up the miles
with the next owner. Within the last 300 miles of driving, the
following work has been completed on the vehicle: all fluids
drained and replaced, rebuilt master cylinder, new front brake
rotors, new brake pads all around, complete tune-up (including new
spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, etc.), new belts and hoses,
cleaned radiator, new water pump, transmission service, valve cover
seals, and rear muffler. This vehicle has remained in the same
family since it was bought new off the lot in 1974. Other options
