We are pleased to present this custom 1972 Challenger Restomod. With a 1970 front clip and custom built AAR Cuda style hood, shaved marker lights, filled and fitted rear, tucked bumpers, flush mounted front and rear glass, the grille and other trim pieces have been, powder coated grill and trim pieces and adjustable chin splitter. The engine is a 6.1 Hemi from a 2008 SRT (about 500hp), TTI headers, 46RE overdrive transmission (with shift kit), custom built driveshaft, and a Dana 60 with 4:10 gears built by Summers Brothers. Engine bay has custom powder coated closeout panels. Fuel tank is from Tanks INC with the fuel pump inside of it. It also has a fuel regulator and 3/8" branded lines front to rear. The suspension is from GTS. Front is a tubular with a live rack and pinion, rear is a 4 link. Dual adjustable Viking coil over shocks on all four corners. The brakes and master cylinder are Wilwood. Front is a 6 piston and 4 piston on rear with Hydraboost assisted supplied by a PSC reservoir. Custom powder coated 18" front and 20's rear rims by Pro Wheels and are wrapped in Federal tires (255 front and 305 rear). Interior is custom orange and black leather and suede by BSI. The seats are originally from a 2015 Challenger. They were cut and fit to the car. Sun visors, grab handles, center console, and upper console are all re-purposed and fitted to the car. The dash cluster is by Dakota Digital, power windows by Nu-Relics, power locks, power hood release, alarm, and push to start from Auto-Loc, harnesses from E-Z wiring and Hotwire, backup camera by Pyle, taillights by Digitails, and headlights with halos and switchbacks by Octane Lighting. The cruise control by Liteon Automotive, under door "Challenger" lighting by ghost shadow light. Other power items include power antenna, trunk release, power drivers seat, and interior orange LED lighting.
The Stereo and sound dampening material is all by Rockville Audio. Head unit with Bluetooth, 6.5 with tweeters in the front, 6x9 with tweeters in the rear, 8" competition sub in a custom box mounted in the package tray powered by a DB12 Amp. 9 speakers in total!
Heat and AC by Vintage Air. Other features include RingBrothers billet aluminum hood hinges, Rivinius billet aluminum trunk hinges, and Acoustihood under hood cover.
The paint is Tango Mango pearl on top, Diamond Black pearl on bottom and a silver metallic stripe in the middle with 6 coats of clear. Then the car was professionally color sanded and buffed to a glossy glass finish. This car has been set up for the street and is capable of running on the track just by turning a knob on the shocks.
