Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this sharp 1982
Toyota Corolla Tercel DX. The Tercel was introduced in Japan in
August 1978, Europe in March 1979 and the United States in 1980. It
was originally sold as either a two- or four-door sedan, or as a
three-door hatchback. This example is the Tercel two-door (North
America, facelift version). This Toyota is still powered by the
original and numbers matching 1.5L 3A Inline 4-cylinder and mated
to the original 4 speed manual transmission. The current owner
bought the car about 5 years ago and rebuilt the engine,
approximately 30k miles have been driven since the rebuild. The
owner has also replaced both CV joints, bearings, brake calipers,
carburetor and hoses, rebuilt the heads, replaced the distributor,
tie rods, EGR valve, wheel hub, starter, and so much more to keep
this car purring like a kitten. The current also reupholstered the
front seats and added a FM transmitter into the interior. The Tan
vinyl interior flows well with the gloss yellow paint theme. This
car comes with a clean Carfax and shows that majority of its life
was spent in California. If you are looking for a piece of Toyota
history, this is the car for you! This 1982 Toyota Tercel DX is for
