The 1966 Chevelle was updated to get us into the muscle car era. It fires up with a wicked growl, but any time you really want to bring the thunder, a switch under the dash opens up the electric cutouts for a brutal sound. You're in complete control of this big V8 and its muscle car symphony thanks to the desirable four-speed manual transmission. This feeds the stout 12-bolt rear end.
