Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this luxurious
classic 1973 Rolls Royce Corniche Convertible for sale. In the
early 1970's the Corniche was extremely difficult to come by and
those who were fortunate enough to acquire one treasured them. This
motorcar came from the estate of a Rolls Royce enthusiast who
meticulously maintained it both cosmetically and mechanically. It
has only been driven a pampered 62,456 miles. It is finished in a
beautiful English White with stylish Sable Brown Connolly hide
leather interior with beautiful burled walnut woodwork highlights.
It is fitted with the all-aluminum Rolls Royce V8 dual carbureted
engine along with the 3-speed automatic transmission. Again, this
was a time where the engines were tested by setting them on a bench
and running them for 24 hours. Using a stethoscope to detect
imperfections, engines would be rejected if they did not meet the
Rolls Royce criteria. In addition to the new tan factory
convertible top and headliner, it comes with air conditioning,
electric windows, door locks and seats, an updated AM/FM radio and
CD player, power steering and hydraulic brakes to mention a few.
This motorcar is for the true connoisseur who is looking for a
timeless classic that can be driven with endless pride of
ownership. For more information on this 1973 Rolls Royce Corniche
